PAGE TWO: KATHIE LOVES ANDY
ANDY: Of course, I have what one would say a 'Menage-a-trois."

RALNA: That's "Jensi-sa-trois."

ANDY: My mistake, heh heh heh, I was just playing around of course.

MARY LOU: Hey you guys, I think Ken is coming on next!

The club's emcee steps onto the stage, and does his introduction

HA HA EMCEE: Our next comic on Amateur Night is a up and coming pile of laughs, he's orginally from Detroit, Michigan and you may know him as one of the stars on the Lawrence Welk Show, let's give a Ha Ha Factory welcome to Ken Delo!

THERE IS ROUNDS OF APPLAUSE AS KEN STEPS ONTO THE STAGE AND TOWARDS THE MICROPHONE

KEN: Thank ya, thank ya ladies and gentlemen, I've just flown in from Encino and BOY ARE MY ARMS TIRED!

Laughter ensues, but then Andy soon interupts as he does his Latka Gravas

ANDY: Uh, you should have used wings Mester Delo.

KEN: Anyway....lemme tell you about what working in televison....

ANDY(interupts again): How can you work in the television? You are very much bigger than my Zenith Color Television set.

RALNA: Oh no, this is not going to look good.

KEN: As I was saying, I work on the Lawrence Welk Show and although I love the man, he is so square that he thinks Fleetwood Mac is pasta you buy at Ralph's!

Andy interupts yet again, this time as Vic Ferrari

ANDY: That joke is so old, Dick Clark was still in high school with Moses!

KEN: Excuse me, I'm supposed to be the comedian here!

ANDY: And I'm supposed to find that funny? Puh-leeze!

Back at the table, Mary Lou looks and frowns at Kathie

MARY LOU: Kath, please say this is a joke, you two aren't really getting serious.

The following Monday, we find our Welk heroes back at the studios rehearsing for this week's upcoming show, and we find Mary Lou talking with Gail Farrell and her mixed trio featuring her husband Ron Anderson and fellow singer Michael Redman

GAIL: Hi Lou, how was Kenny's performance at the Ha Ha?

MARY LOU: It was a disaster, Kathie's new boyfriend kept upstaging him all night and made a mockery of everyone here!

RON: Kathie has a new boyfriend? We never heard anything about that.

MARY LOU: She met him when she rehearsed for "South Pacific"

Gail looks offstage, she spots Kathie enter with Andy right beside her

GAIL: Hey, isn't that Andy Kaufman? Me and Ron saw him live at Carneige Hall!

MICHAEL: You are kidding, he's her new boyfriend?

MARY LOU: Spot on.

KATHIE: Hey guys, you know all about Andy Kaufman, right?

MARY LOU: More than I need to know.

KATHIE: Andy, you heard of these guys, Gail Farrell, Ron Anderson and Michael Redman whom I worked on with the show.

GAIL: How do you do?

ANDY(in his normal voice): I'm very fine, you're all very fine singers.
