THE 2007 LIVE LAWRENCE WELK SHOW VISITS TOLEDO

It's Tuesday, March 27, 2007....the stars of the Lawrence Welk Show have come to my hometown of Toledo for a matinee concert

On this year's tour, the list of stars are Mary Lou Metzger, Gail Farrell, Anacani, Ava Barber, Dick Dale, Jack Imel, Tim Padilla and the dance team of Pasha and Ilona. This is the second stop of their six city Midwest tour, which includes Pigeon Forge (TN), Buffalo (NY), Dearborn (MI), Wisconsin Dells (WI) and South Bend (IN). The show featured alot of great numbers such as "Jukebox Saturday Night", "Broadway Baby" by Mary Lou Metzger, "Tiny Bubbles" by Gail and Dale, "Bucket To The South" by Ava Barber plus many of your favorites from the Welk show. I took many pictures of the show, during the performance and both times when they signed autographs, first at intermission and later after the show where yours truly and many of his friends from Welknotes got together to say "Howdy!"
